In February 2006 we bought after much searching the ruins of an old farm in the province of Murcia, just 20 km. of the increasingly popular "Costa Calida". The farm has completely free 2ha land with views of the surrounding mountains and the village Almendricos with various shops and restaurants.

In about eight months we have transformed this farm with the help of many Spanish craftsmen into a beautiful small hotel (s). End of October 2006, my mother opened "Casa Oasis" with company of among others the Dutch TV (the "No turning back") I myself have enjoyed the construction period and loved to plan and arrange everything. The first months after the opening we have been working great, but I got half 2007 already feel that this is not really my "thing" is. In the Netherlands I owned a large office furniture company with my brother and that was for me much more dynamic.

Since the intention was that Maarten after a few years the company would take over, we still continued, but for Maarten it was not really his thing. Maarten had been dating a girl from Madrid and he is now living there for over a year.

We would therefore sell because for a couple of our age is too much work and it is also not our thing.

Casa Oasis is fully complete and any buyer can start immediately. We are self-supporting. Water comes with a tanker (less calcium than water and more water pressure) and flow we have a huge solar energy system. All 10 rooms are furnished with top furniture and beautiful bathroom. And then there is a fence in the beach volleyball court, a bocce court, a mini football field, a parking lot where 14 cars from the sun to stand ... and more. Inside the lockable fence we have approximately 8,000 m2 of land, which we have over the years have made ​​a large garden area. Outside the fence is further 12,000 m2 of land, where we currently do nothing, but what if a beautiful little campsite can be made.
